Landivisiau AB 2008

thumb_news-002March 30, 2008 - The 349 squadron left Kleine Brogel Air Base for an air defence exercise at NAS Landivisiau in France. The unit will be practising different skills to enhance it’s operational capabilities.

Together with this deployment, an aerial refuelling exercise will be held with French KC-135 aircraft. This will help 349 pilots to reach the necessary number of refuelling flights to keep their qualification current.

 

Roll out of FA-94 with a special paint scheme

thumb_news-008August 20, 2007 - Today, F-16 #FA-94 adorning a special paint scheme was rolled out at Kleine Brogel AB. The tail of the F-16 is painted with a special livery to celebrate the 65th birthday of the squadron.

The design of the tail was carried out by Peter Verheyen en Johan Wolfs. The design features a fist holding a Mace with ‘Strike Hard’ title on the left side and ‘Strike Home’ title on the right side of the tail. The ventral fins both feature 65 years 349 titles.
